伪高阶偏振锁定矢量孤子的产生

Generation of Pseudo-High-Order Polarization-Locked Vector Solitons

  • 摘要: 矢量孤子在光纤通信、光纤传感等领域具有潜在应用价值。在一个偏振分辨光纤系统中,理论模拟了基于基阶偏振锁定矢量孤子(polarization-locked vector soliton,PLVS)来获取伪高阶PLVS。通过改变输入脉冲的啁啾、振幅比、投影角度、时间延迟及相位差,最终通过偏振分束器(polarization beam splitter,PBS)可以得到不同种类的伪高阶PLVS。

     

    Abstract: Vector solitons have potential applications in optical fiber communication, optical fiber sensing and other fields. In a polarization-resolved optical fiber system, pseudo-high-order polarization-locked vector soliton (PLVS) was theoretically generated with fundamental PLVS. By changing the chirp, amplitude ratio, projection angle, time delay and phase difference of input pulses, different kinds of pseudo-high-order PLVS were obtained via polarization beam splitter (PBS).
