氟化物磁光晶体研究进展

Research progress on fluoride magneto-optical crystals

  • 摘要: 随着高功率激光技术的持续进步,磁光隔离器获得广泛应用,同时也推动了作为其关键部件的磁光材料,特别是磁光晶体的发展。为满足高功率激光系统对性能的更高要求,亟需不断研制高质量的磁光晶体。氟化物磁光晶体具备热光学效应弱、Verdet常数高等优点,被视为高功率激光系统中磁光隔离器的理想候选材料。介绍了多种氟化物磁光晶体的特性及研究进展,并对这些晶体的未来发展前景进行了展望。

     

    Abstract: With the continuous development of high-power laser technology, magneto-optical isolators have been widely used, which has promoted the development of magneto-optical materials, especially magneto-optical crystals, which are the key components of magneto-optical isolators. Fluoride magneto-optical crystals have the advantages of weak thermo-optical effect and high Verdet constant, and are regarded as ideal candidates for magneto-optical isolators in high-power laser systems. The characteristics and research progress fluoride magneto-optical crystals are introduced, and the future of these crystals is prospected.
