Abstract:
The protection of landscape heritage plays an extremely important role in balancing the natural landscape and ecological environment, inheriting history and culture, and achieving sustainable development. To holistically explore the current status and progress of research on the heritage conservation and cultural tourism of Shanghai’s Gangshen area from a landscape heritage perspective, this study analyzes relevant literature published between 1995 and 2024 in the CNKI database. Using CiteSpace software complemented by a systematic literature review, keyword co-occurrence and cluster analyses were conducted. The findings reveal that:① the annual publication output in this field can be divided into three distinct phases; overall collaboration among scholars remains limited and fragmented, with room for growth in both researcher engagement and publication volume; ② research is largely conducted independently across institutions, with only limited small-scale cooperation and no broad collaborative network; ③ high-frequency keywords include Zhujiajiao, culture, ancient town preservation, and rural revitalization; ④ key research themes focus on the Songze Culture, Nanxiang Ancient Town, tourism development, rural revitalization, and cultural preservation. Based on these findings, future conceptual planning for the Shanghai Gangshen Heritage Corridor should focus on integrating the landscape structure, clarifying expressions of cultural multiplicity, and strengthening sustainable development.
