Analysis of Temperature Stress of Ultra-Long Structure of Underground Plaza in A Business Center

  • Temperature stress, the main factor responsible for causing cracks in ultra-long concrete structures, is also the main problem to be solved in design. The finite element calculation software SAP2000 was used to analyze the temperature stress of the ultra-long structure of a commercial square in a business center. The type of temperature load that may be encountered in the entire process from construction to normal use of the underground concrete structure was analyzed. The self-shrinkage effect of the concrete was identified as that of the temperature load. The linear distribution method was used to calculate the various temperature loads acting on the building, and the working conditions for the calculation of the temperature effect of the ultra-long structure were established. Finally, the temperature stress diagram for the most unfavorable temperature conditions was obtained. The calculation results show that the calculation model of temperature effect of the ultra-long underground structure given in this paper can play a guiding role in the design of the construction drawings.
