Based on the analysis of the requirements of the smart internet of things (IoT) system, this paper expounds the role of infrared optical rainfall real-time monitoring technology in the smart airport rainfall real-time monitoring system. This paper introduces the rainfall measuring technology and the representative rain gauge, then introduces the working principle of the infrared optical rain gauge, and gives a program analysis of the application of the rain gauge in the smart airport.
