Abstract
The effects of the nutrient solution with different electrical conductivity (EC) treatments on growth, photosynthesis, photosynthesis and physiological indexes of Hemerocallis fulva cv. Red Parrot were studied. The results indicated that the plant height, leaf length, leaf width, leaf number, stalk length, stalk thickness, flower diameter, chlorophyll content, dry and fresh weight of leaves and roots, net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductivity, intercellular carbon dioxide concentration, photosynthetic water use efficiency all exhibited a trend of initial increase followed by a decrease. When the EC value was 2.8 dS·m–1, the nutrient solution concentration level grew well and the flowering quality was the highest, and the antioxidant capacity was improved simultaneously. Both excessively high and low EC values would inhibit the growth of Hemerocallis fulva cv. Red Parrot. The nutrient solution with EC value of 2.8 dS·m–1 was more suitable for the growth of Hemerocallis fulva cv. Red Parrot, and is conducive to improving its quality, promoting high-quality cultivation.
