Abstract
To effectively prevent and mitigate safety accidents in the casting industry, this study focuses on the production process of cast iron bathtubs and develops a safety evaluation model based on the structural entropy weight method (SEWM) and cloud model. The model systematically analyzes five core process stages of cast iron bathtub production (melting, molding, cleaning, enamel treatment, and final inspection), constructing a hierarchical evaluation framework comprising 6 primary dimensions and 27 secondary indicators. The SEWM is applied for weight allocation, followed by a comprehensive evaluation using the cloud model. By deriving the characteristic parameters of the integrated cloud model for the cast iron bathtub production process and generating a visual cloud map via Python software, the results are compared against a standard evaluation cloud map to determine the final overall safety rating of the production process. Research findings demonstrate that the proposed model is applicable to the comprehensive safety evaluation of cast iron bathtub production processes and contributes to enhancing the overall safety performance of the production process.
