Current situation and research of welding dust cleaning and removal

The smoke produced by welding activities will pose a threat to human health. The formation and diffusion laws of welding smoke are reviewed, and the current research progress on welding smoke diffusion is discussed. Two main methods of dust purification are described in detail, and a comparative analysis is made. Several typical welding dust treatment techniques are explained, and the efficiency and applicability of local and overall dust removal strategies are compared. The filtration technology of various welding dust and the selection of corresponding dust removal equipment are summarized. This paper analyzes the situations in the current research of welding fume treatment, and puts forward some and suggestions for the future development direction of this field.
