Discussion on design of urban over-track property

  • The design of urban over-track properties presents unique complexities, requiring adherence to conventional architectural structural standards while addressing distinctive technical requirements. This study examines the spatial characteristics and development potential of the upper space of urban track depots and station depots, analyzes current design practices, and systematically evaluates critical structural considerations, including safety, durability, seismic resistance, and vibration isolation, based on the T/CECS 1035-2022 standard. Through comprehensive review of design philosophy, theory, and methodology, the research identifies debatable provisions within T/CECS 1035-2022 while proposing specific seismic design countermeasures. The findings provide project managers and structural engineers with efficient guidance for grasping the main content of the T/CECS 1035-2022 standard and the key design elements and methods for urban over-track properties.
