A comparative study on the application of flow construction technology and alterative construction techniques in construction engineering

  • This study aims to explore the application of flow construction technology in modern construction engineering and conduct a comparative analysis with sequential and parallel construction techniques. Through practical case studies, it reveals the advantages of flow construction in improving construction efficiency, shortening the construction period, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing project quality. This article defines the concept of flow construction and outlines its basic principles and implementation procedures. It provides an in-depth interpretation of the three construction methods from both temporal and spatial dimensions, with comparative analysis clarifying the scientificity and rationality of flow construction. The challenges that may be encountered in the practical application of flow construction are identified, and suggestions for future research directions are put forward. This research not only provides an efficient construction management method for the construction industry, but also offers theoretical support for the innovation and development of construction technology.
